AI Agent Clean Terms of Use (EULA)

This English Terms of Use (“EULA”) is the default license agreement for AI Agent Clean on the Mac App Store. A Chinese translation is available at terms.html#zh.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using AI Agent Clean (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are between you and the developer (“we,” “us”) and supplement Apple’s Media Services Terms and Mac App Store rules where applicable.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference. Apple is the distributor on the Mac App Store; Apple is not a party to these Terms but controls App Store purchases, refunds, and subscription management.

2. Description of Service

AI Agent Clean is a macOS utility that may include, without limitation:

• Smart Scan — combined cleanup, privacy, and performance scan
• Cleanup — AI Agent Clean, system junk, mail attachments, trash bins
• Privacy — browser and system privacy-trace cleanup
• Performance — optimization and maintenance tasks
• Apps — uninstaller
• Files — Space Lens, large/old files
• Menu bar helper — optional login item and quick scans

Feature availability may differ between Mac App Store and direct-download builds. The App is not an official Apple product. Features may change without notice.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the App on Mac computers you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, circumvent paywalls, use the App unlawfully, or remove proprietary notices.

4. Free Features, Trial & Subscriptions

4.1 Free Trial

• Where offered, a 7-day free trial is an App Store introductory offer for eligible monthly or yearly subscriptions, managed through the Mac App Store.
• During the trial, premium features are available.
• After the trial, scanning remains free; premium actions show the paywall.

4.2 Products

4.3 Auto-Renewal (Apple-required disclosure)

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel in System Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → Subscriptions (or App Store → Account → Subscriptions).
• Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not include a subscription introductory offer.
• Payment is processed by Apple; refunds follow Apple’s policies.
• Use Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases in the App to restore prior purchases.

5. Permissions & Your Responsibilities

• Some features require Full Disk Access, folder selection, or a Login Item, which you grant voluntarily.
• Cleanup and uninstall may permanently delete data. Review selections carefully and back up important files.
• Maintenance tasks may briefly affect performance.
• You are responsible for how you use the App and for outcomes of your actions.

See the Privacy Policy. Processing is local-first; optional diagnostics can be disabled in Settings.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO APPLE FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; THOSE LIMITS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

9. Termination

We may cease support if you breach these Terms. You may uninstall at any time. Lifetime purchases and active subscriptions remain governed by Apple receipts.

10. Export Compliance

You agree to comply with applicable export and sanctions laws.

11. Governing Law

Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply. Where permitted, these Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules), with disputes subject to courts where the developer is established, without limiting App Store consumer remedies.

12. Changes & Contact

We may update these Terms by posting a new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
