Is AI Agent Clean an antivirus?

What the Privacy module checks

Review supported browser caches, Safari data, recent-document records and recent-server records found within the locations the app can access. Inspect the results and select what to clean. A result count of zero means no cleanable items were found in that scan; it does not certify that your Mac is free of malware.

Privacy cleanup and malware detection are different

Removing cached or recent-use data is not a malware scan. AI Agent Clean does not replace macOS security protections or a dedicated antivirus product. It does not scan every file or promise to detect unknown threats.

How to evaluate Mac cleaner safety

Check each category and path. Removing browser data can affect browsing state. Close affected applications first and keep backups of important files. Follow the action shown in the confirmation dialog; do not assume every operation can be undone.
