About AI Agent Clean
We build a Mac App Store utility for people who use AI coding tools every day — and still need everyday Mac maintenance without opaque “one-click” deletions.

Why this product exists
Cursor, Claude Desktop, Codex, and similar tools write large regenerable caches under ~/Library. General cleaners often miss those locations or bury them in generic junk lists. AI Agent Clean groups AI-tool data by app and category, then uses the same preview-before-Trash workflow for Smart Scan modules across the rest of the Mac.
Guides on this site document manual Finder paths so you can verify what the app surfaces — content is written for developers who want to understand the folders, not just trust a marketing claim.
How we work
- Local-first — scans and size calculation run on your Mac; file contents are not uploaded for cleanup.
- Review before removal — selected items move to Trash by default.
- Measure on your machine — we do not publish generic “GB saved” promises; reclaimable size varies by workload.
- Honest limits — Protection complements Apple’s defenses; it is not enterprise EDR. See the malware scanner page.
Who writes the guides
Guides are published by the AI Agent Clean Team, the same product team that maintains the Mac app. Cache-path references are checked against the product’s ownership rules and updated when the underlying guide changes. When a page includes a tested app or macOS version, that version is recorded on the page; otherwise we do not imply a version-specific test.
